Job Description: Coughlin Insurance Brokers is seeking a results-driven Commercial Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing a portfolio of commercial clients, and delivering tailored insurance solutions that meet client needs. You’ll work closely with internal teams and carrier partners to provide exceptional service and build long-lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective commercial clients through networking, referrals, and cold outreach
  • Conduct needs assessments and present customized insurance solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to policy binding
  • Provide ongoing client service and policy renewals support
  • Collaborate with underwriting and service teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Stay current on industry trends, products, and regulatory changes

Qualifications:

  •  Proven experience in commercial insurance sales or a related field
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Level 2 license in BC or AB (or willingness to obtain)
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Applied EPIC is an asset
